Goodbye 2013

These are my outfit photos throughout the year. I love looking back on these as I feel as though my style has really come into its own this year. I was always confused to what style i actually liked and what i wanted to wear and found it so hard to make my own decisions so whenever I went outside, i never really felt as though i was dressed as, well..me. I used to copy friends, other fashion bloggers and celebrities but then i soon discovered that neither of these styles were how I wanted to dress either. From when I properly decided to start my blog (April this year) I feel as though I am finally dressing as me! I've never been confident to dress how I want but I've grown so much in confidence the past 6 months, purely just from all the amazing comments and feedback from this blog.

I've only started this blog properly since around April this year, and even until October, I barely even posted. Next year I am going to post so much more, I cannot wait for my blog to grow more and more in 2014 and I hope everyone has an amazing new year! See you in 2014. (you'll find me in the gym)

Fur Waistcoat

SWEATER: TOPSHOP

I first saw this waistcoat around September time in Zara and I instantly knew it. It had to be mine. However for a mere £129.99 it just wasn't going to happen. It was around this time when I discovered the website 'Choies' as all the fashion bloggers were raving about it. I decided to take a peek when i found this exact waistcoat! I was completely made up when I stole it for all of £25, with free delivery between 15-20 days. So here it is, the exact replica of the Zara waistcoat and i would definitely advise anyone to take a look at Choies, as they do so many pieces way cheaper then the highstreet and at the same quality. Prices of certain items change from day to day so keep checking how much it is, as this waistcoat is a little bit steeper now than when I got it.

ps sorry I'm standing so lopsided that it makes the waistcoat look uneven. So many blog posts later and i'm still awkward at taking pictures.

Favourite Blogs of 2013

So i've decided to compile a list of my favourite bloggers this year, whose blogs I have turned to for countless inspirations, product recommendations and just the general cheeky nosey. I got the idea of this post from the lovely Hello October as I believe the blogging community is such a great thing, i have encountered countless kind and encouraging bloggers and i would like to do my bit by sharing my favourite bloggers and giving them some credit for all their hard work.

This lady has got to be the queen of minimalism. She has the most amazing fashion sense and I am always tuning into her unique DIY posts on creating objects/items of clothing.

I love this girls casual/tomboyish sense of style. It definitely shows you don't have to dress up and make a massive effort to make a statement.

Sammi is massively popular on her blog and on youtube for her effortless style, AMAZING hair and her beauty product reviews. She has a lovely quirky personality and even her photography is stunning!

Caroline has the most amazing body, face, hair, makeup, photography and decor..and she has just given birth! Warning if you check her blog out you will suffer from a serious case of envy.

I've only recently discovered Megan's blog but I fell in love with her styling and amazing fashion pieces. Her witty and chatty style of writing makes me feel as though i'm talking to a friend, and not just reading a stranger's blog!

I feel as though Louise puts soo much more then 100% into her blog posts. Reading her blog, i feel as though she has put so much effort into her pictures and writing. Her motivational posts are inspirational and she has the cutest little daughter ever!

Alyssa has an amazing sense of style, minimal and casual go such a long way and suit her so much. I am also so envious of her style of photography.

Please feel free to leave your favourite bloggers in the comments, so I could continue to stalk read and follow even more!

Neoprene Lovin'

TOP: ASOS

I'm currently writing this while travelling, yep its official, I've become THAT person. This was my Christmas outfit of the day, as it was surprisingly ok weather up here in the north. Both sweater and skirt are made from neoprene and i cannot express my love for this fabric more. It gives a whole another feel to a simple basic outfit, making the look stylish and effortless.

I am also loving these Doc Martins i received for Christmas off my parents, I chose the white to try and give my outfits a more minimalistic feel. They're amazing quality and will definitely last me donkeys years. I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas, sorry I couldn't post this yesterday, was definitely too engrossed in all the food!

Black Sunday

BOOTS: TOPSHOP

This outfit was fully inspired by recent tumbr addiction, which is fast becoming worrying. However, now looking at these pictures, i feel like a look a bit like a biker. This is probably going to be my last outfit post before Christmas, as I've got about 3 outfits at home with me to try and motivate myself to not leave the house, but to stay in and revise. However, I've got plenty of outfit posts lined up for after Christmas!

Currently sat stuffing my face with mounds of cheesecake, biscuits, nuts and lots of other yummy food, spending some quality time with the fam and home friends before the new year and exam period starts once again! I've also made the MASSIVE decision to start doing YouTube videos in the new year, so keep your eyes peeled! Also, any video requests are welcome in the comments. Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas if I don't post before then.

Fashion for Thought

I've not really posted any 'inspiration' type posts before, and I feel as though my blog, which is mainly a style diary, could probably do with a little bit more diversity now and then. Plus, I also wanted to show the kind of images and style that I love, and what absolutely inspires my outfits. (pretty much oversized coats and black/white from these pictures.)

These are just a few images I've borrowed stolen from tumblr, which I literally just made the other day! I felt I needed a space to put all amazing outfits/style and photography ideas and there were so many, my head couldn't fit anymore. So, if you like the look of these, please give my tumblr a follow.

Cold Ears

COAT: ASOS
TOP: PRIMARK
TROUSERS: TOPSHOP

I've just arrived back home for the Christmas period, and I literally have brought only a select few outfits back with me so sorry if this outfit is a little similar to past outfits.

However I wanted to wear my fluffy headband on here as I haven't worn it in any posts, I've had it for years and I still cannot get enough of it. My ears suffer so much in the cold that having this in my bag is a necessity. Its keeps your ears warm, and doesn't give you the dreaded 'hat hair'. You can pick these up for dirt cheap on eBay.

ASOS Halfpenny Shoes

SHOES: ASOS (black) (white)

This isn't the kind of post I would usually do, but definitely felt like these shoes deserved a review. Not many people know, but I have a MASSIVE issue with my feet which causes me to be in pain everytime I walk, so wearing heels is generally out of the question if i'm not going to be sitting down all night. So this was basically the situation, until I found these shoes.

These are literally the comfiest heels I've ever worn, and if they're comfy on my awkward feet, then they must be even comfier on regular feet. The tilt of the feet in the shoe itself is close to nothing due to the platform being nearly as high as the heel itself, which still isn't high at all, around 3-4 inches.

I bought the black ones myself and received the white ones for my birthday and even though they're the same shoe, the material each pair is made from is different. The black is quite 'plasticy' and the white pair being a faux leather material, which does make the white pair a little comfier then the black. So if anyone was searching for a pair of comfy heels, which are not too high, I would highly recommend these! Please let me know in the comments if you would like me to do similar posts to this.

Birthday Weekend Getaway

Just thought i'd share a few snaps of my weekend away for my birthday (which is tomorrow) as there hasn't been a proper outfit post this weekend. I stayed in the most beautiful, luxurious place and it was such a lovely break to chill and relax before my 20th party antics kick in tomorrow night.

Sorry the pictures aren't the greatest, not really into photography but actually growing to love it the more I take pictures for my blog. I stayed HERE if anyone was really curious!
